Yukarıdan bir kavram seç.
Pre-written computational functions available in C++ by including the <cmath> header file. All math library functions return a double data type and accept constants, variables, or expressions as arguments.
A variable defined inside a specific function body whose scope is restricted strictly to that function. Local variables cannot be accessed or modified by other functions.
A special type of local variable listed in the function definition header that acts as a placeholder for data passed into the function during a call.
A self-contained structural unit in C++ that helps divide large programs into manageable pieces. Functions act as the primary modules in C++, allowing developers to organize code logically.
A custom function created by the programmer to perform specific tasks tailored to application requirements. For instance, creating an integer function named square to compute numbers.
Program Module
— A self-contained structural unit in C++ that helps divide large programs into manageable pieces. Functions act as the primary modules in C++, allowing developers to organize code logically.
User-Defined Function
— A custom function created by the programmer to perform specific tasks tailored to application requirements. For instance, creating an integer function named square to compute numbers.
Math Library Function
— Pre-written computational functions available in C++ by including the <cmath> header file. All math library functions return a double data type and accept constants, variables, or expressions as arguments.
Local Variable
— A variable defined inside a specific function body whose scope is restricted strictly to that function. Local variables cannot be accessed or modified by other functions.
Function Parameter
— A special type of local variable listed in the function definition header that acts as a placeholder for data passed into the function during a call.
Void Return Type
— A specifier used in function definitions to indicate that the function does not return any value back to the caller. When a function is void, a return statement is either omitted or written as return;.
Function Definition
— The complete implementation of a function, containing the return type, function name, parameter list, and a block of statements enclosed in curly braces that dictate what the function actually does.
Function Prototype
— A declaration that precedes the function usage, providing the compiler with the function name, parameter types, and return type. It is essential when function definitions are placed after the main function.
Call by Value
— An argument-passing mechanism where a copy of the argument's value is created and handed to the function. Modifications made to the parameter inside the function do not affect the original variable.
Call by Reference
— An argument-passing mechanism where the memory address or original argument itself is passed to the function, allowing any internal modifications to directly impact the original variable.
