Yukarıdan bir kavram seç.
A plane perpendicular to the long axis of the body and the median plane, which divides a four-legged animal's body into front (cranial) and back (caudal) portions.
A plane parallel to the horizon and the long axis of the body, perpendicular to the median plane, which divides the animal's body into upper (dorsal) and lower (ventral) halves.
Latin terms used to denote right (dexter) and left (sinister) anatomical structures, such as the right kidney (Ren dexter) and the left ventricle of the heart (Ventriculus sinister).
The single vertical plane passing through the absolute center of a quadrupedal animal from head to tail, dividing the body into equal right and left halves.
An imaginary vertical plane running parallel to the planum medianum, named after the posture of an archer holding a bow, which divides the body into unequal inner and outer parts.
Planum medianum
— The single vertical plane passing through the absolute center of a quadrupedal animal from head to tail, dividing the body into equal right and left halves.
Planum sagittale
— An imaginary vertical plane running parallel to the planum medianum, named after the posture of an archer holding a bow, which divides the body into unequal inner and outer parts.
Planum transversum
— A plane perpendicular to the long axis of the body and the median plane, which divides a four-legged animal's body into front (cranial) and back (caudal) portions.
Planum horizontale
— A plane parallel to the horizon and the long axis of the body, perpendicular to the median plane, which divides the animal's body into upper (dorsal) and lower (ventral) halves.
Dexter / Sinister
— Latin terms used to denote right (dexter) and left (sinister) anatomical structures, such as the right kidney (Ren dexter) and the left ventricle of the heart (Ventriculus sinister).
Medial / Lateral
— Directional terms where 'medial' indicates a position closer to the planum medianum (inner side) and 'lateral' indicates a position further away from it (outer side).
Cranial / Caudal
— Directional terms used for the body trunk, where 'cranial' (from cranium) refers to the direction toward the head, and 'caudal' (from cauda) refers to the direction toward the tail.
Rostral
— A specific directional term used exclusively within the head region to describe a position or direction toward the tip of the nose or beak (rostrum).
Proximal / Distal
— Limb-specific terms where 'proximal' indicates a position closer to the attachment point of the leg to the body, and 'distal' indicates a position further away from the body.
Palmar / Plantar
— Terms describing the ground-facing surfaces of the limbs; 'palmar' is used for the back of the foreleg (palm), while 'plantar' is used for the sole of the hind leg.
